Overview of the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the front-of-house team at RHS Garden Rosemoor. As Visitor Services Team Leader you will inspire and develop a team of eight Visitor Services Assistants, plus casual staff and volunteers, to deliver an outstanding welcome to around 250,000 visitors every year. You will set the standard for customer service, drive membership recruitment and Gift Aid performance, and bring our diverse calendar of events to life for our visitors.

This is a genuine leadership role. You will coach your team to succeed, plan staffing around the rhythms of a busy visitor attraction, and act as the senior point of contact for front-of-house, deputising for the Visitor Services and Site Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, communicate confidently with diverse audiences, and take real pride in developing others. Experience in a visitor attraction, hospitality or sales-driven environment would be an advantage.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
