About the Role
Part-time post, 29 hours per week.
In this role you will act as the Central Point of Contact in relation to ViSOR (Violent and Sex Offender Register), ensuring compliance with national guidance, as well as monitoring the administration process whilst supervising a team of Administrators. You will provide training and guidance to MOSOVO (Management of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders) officers and staff and other units around the force in using ViSOR and other legislative matters.
Requirements
It is essential that you have significant administrative experience with an ability to analyse and evaluate data, working in a multi-agency environment. You will also have experience supervising others in a demanding, fast-paced role along with the ability to lead, coach, develop and mentor staff. Presentation, briefing and communication skills are required together with a good knowledge of legislation in relation to MAPPA, ViSOR, Sexual Offences Act 2003, human rights and data protection. You will have the ability to work under pressure with effective organisation skills and the resilience to cope with sensitive and disturbing material, whilst being able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

The successful candidate must have the capability to travel to different locations across the Force.
Along with all other posts in the Force CID, Intelligence and Specialist Operations departments this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.
Due to the unpleasant nature of the work at times, the successful candidate will be required to complete psychological screening.
