Visual Designer (Contract)
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: London/Bristol/Manchester/Leeds (2 days per week in any of these sites)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or Salary is available for suitable candidates
Role Profile
Our client, a prominent organisation in the banking sector, is seeking a talented Visual Designer to enhance their digital offerings. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that prioritises innovation and user experience.
The Visual Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling and user-friendly designs for a range of mobile applications and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality UI designs that align with the organisation’s branding and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure a cohesive approach to product design and user experience.
- Employ Figma and other design tools to produce wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the design process.
- Advocate for accessibility standards in design, ensuring that products are usable for all customers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practises in visual design, contributing insights that enhance the organisation's design strategy.

Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in mobile application design and visual communication.
- Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma, along with a solid understanding of design systems and responsive design principles.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practises in digital design.
- Ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to achieve project goals.
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
