Job Description
We are currently seeking a Visual Inspector to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Swindon. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards before progressing through the production process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual visual inspections of pharmaceutical products under controlled conditions.
- Identify and reject products with visible defects, including particles, cosmetic imperfections, or packaging issues.
- Follow approved inspection procedures, SOPs, and batch documentation.
- Ensure all inspections are performed in accordance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain documentation standards.
- Segregate accepted and rejected products correctly.
- Report quality concerns, abnormalities, or trends to the relevant team members.
- Participate in training, qualification, and vision assessment activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.

Profile
- GCSE-level Maths and English or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Good visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses.
- Understanding of GMP, documentation practices, or regulated environments is beneficial.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-focused.

Benefits
- Full-time 12-month contract.
- Monday to Friday shifts:
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 23:00
- Competitive salary of £13.86 per hour.
- 22% shift allowance paid on top of the hourly rate.
