Application Deadline: 2 August 2026

Department: Commercial

Location: London (Animal)

Description

As a Visual Merchandiser for Animal, you will play a key role in bringing the brand to life across our stores. Working as part of the Commercial Retail team, you will support the delivery of the Animal visual merchandising strategy, ensuring stores are visually engaging, commercially effective, and provide an exceptional customer experience.

This is a hybrid role combining VM planning and communication with field-based coaching and store support. You will create and deliver clear visual merchandising guidelines, support stores with implementation, and work closely with retail teams to ensure consistent execution of VM standards. Through regular store visits, training, and feedback, you will help drive customer engagement, conversion, and sales while continuously improving the in-store experience across the Animal estate.

Key Responsibilities

VM Pack Creation & Planning

  • Own the creation and delivery of VM packs and standards, translating the Animal VM strategy and brand personality into clear, commercially focused store execution across all stores.
  • Create engaging, easy-to-follow VM packs that support seasonal moves, campaign and capsule launches, highlighting key products and sales drivers.
  • Produce and maintain VM standards (Cribb sheets), defining best practice for product placement, styling, and density to maximise visibility and drive sales.
  • Ensure all VM communication is clear, practical, and easy for store teams to implement consistently, understanding the how and why.
  • Align VM output with the commercial calendar and trading priorities.
  • Continuously review and evolve packs and standards based on store feedback, field visits, performance, and customer behaviour.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
