Job Title: Visual Merchandiser – Car Dealership

Location: Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37

Salary: £29,213 + benefits

Employment Type: Full Time and Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 Hours Per Week

About the Role

Our client has a turnover of approximately 2 billion and employs over 3,000 members of staff across 65 dealerships. They are now looking for a Visual Merchandiser to be based from their Fleet Logistics Centre based in Long Marston.

Our client is looking for someone who is IT proficient in MS Office products, dealer DMS systems, and other web-based Apps and programs. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all used car and commercial vehicle adverts are accurate and have a high-quality description to promote enquiries and sales. You'll maintain and ensure high-quality images and videos are taken of all used vehicle stock and constantly update the dealer management computer system with new information, data, and vehicle images. You will maintain and be responsible for site reviews with the line manager and take appropriate action to ensure all vehicle and forecourt presentation standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will also manage incoming stock purchases, ensuring that all vehicle data and key information is captured and recorded accurately for onward vehicle promotion/advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all car adverts are accurate and feature high-quality descriptions and images to maximize enquiries and sales.
  • Maintain and update dealer management systems with new vehicle data, images, and information.
  • Manage site reviews with line managers, taking action to uphold vehicle and forecourt presentation standards.
  • Coordinate incoming stock purchases, ensuring all vehicle data and key information are captured and recorded for advertising.
  • Progress-chase stock through preparation phases and ensure timely online uploads.
  • Inspect inbound stock vehicles, submitting damage/rectification claims as required.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Work effectively in busy, target-driven environments, meeting deadlines and sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, with a positive attitude and genuine interest in customer needs.
