Position Overview

Position: Visual Merchandising Coordinator (Make up and Skincare) - Retail

Location: London Office (Holborn) in-person required

Schedule: Full-time (Mon to Fri, 8:00 to 4:30)

Salary: £36,000 to £38,000

We work directly with some of Koreas top beauty brands to offer an extensive range of over 2000 Skincare, makeup, hair and body products online and via our offline stores. Since 2019, we have been the go-to destination for UK K-Beauty enthusiasts online and offline, with 8K+ 5-star Trustpilot reviews!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join PURESEOUL's fast‑growing Commercial team! This role plays a key part in shaping our brand presence across our 18 stores (and expanding) across the UK. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position focuses on coordinating store openings, delivering consistent VM execution, and ensuring all VM assets are received, organised, and implemented on time. This role is based in our London Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Openings & VM Execution

  • Store Opening Coordination: Lead all VM activity for new store openings, including receiving VM assets, organising layouts, and ensuring stores are launch‑ready.
  • VM Supplier Management: Coordinate with external VM suppliers, manufacturers, and installers to source, produce, and deliver bespoke VM fixtures, displays, graphics, and campaign materials, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Brand Partnership: Work closely with Account Managers and brand partners to ensure timely receipt of branded VM assets, campaign materials, fixture specifications, and updated guidelines.
  • DC Coordination: Liaise with the Distribution Centre to ensure VM assets are dispatched and delivered to stores ahead of launch timelines.
  • On‑Site Support: Attend store openings and key events to support implementation and act as the main VM contact for store teams.
  • Timeline Management: Manage critical VM milestones and ensure all deadlines are met for store readiness.
  • Post‑Launch Audits: Conduct post‑installation audits to ensure VM accuracy and consistency across stores.

Visual Merchandising Coordination

  • Campaign Rollouts: Coordinate promotional and seasonal VM rollouts across all stores, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, supplier timelines, and timely execution of both branded and bespoke VM elements.
  • Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with VM suppliers, print vendors, fixture manufacturers, and installation partners to support store openings, refreshes, and promotional campaigns.
  • Asset Procurement & Tracking: Track the production, shipment, and delivery of VM assets from both brand partners and third-party suppliers, ensuring stores receive all materials ahead of launch deadlines.
  • Database Ownership: Create and maintain a comprehensive VM database (store layouts, fixtures, brand assets, campaign history). As no system currently exists, full ownership of building and maintaining this structure is required.
  • Store Layout Documentation: Keep accurate records of store VM configurations, fixture changes, and brand placements across the estate.
  • Regular On-Site Inspection: Conduct ad-hoc inspections of the VM across the stores to ensure consistency and flag any concerns.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison for VM‑related communication with Account Managers, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Store Managers.
  • Brand Communication: Maintain strong relationships with brand partners to ensure PURESEOUL receives timely VM updates, assets, and campaign materials.
  • Reporting: Provide regular VM updates, reports, and presentations to senior stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years experience in visual merchandising, space planning and similar within office in a retail setting
  • Multi-site experience is a must
  • Experience in delivering multiple priorities and working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel between London and other UK cities regular with short notice.
  • Passion and knowledge of the Korean Beauty industry would be beneficial!
