POSITION: VISUAL MERCHANDISING INTERN
DEPARTMENT: VISUAL MERCHANDISING/MARKETING
LOCATION: LONDON
START DATE: JANUARY 2027
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and creative individual to join our team! You will support the Visual Merchandising Manager in bringing our prestigious portfolio of LVMH Fragrance Brands to life across the UK & Ireland. We are looking for someone with a true passion for the customer journey and a sharp retail mindset - someone who loves thinking about how we can drive differentiation in-store, while keeping our luxury brand DNA at the core of everything we do. Job Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Trade & Retail Activation: Support across diverse trade activities and multi-retailer environments, tailoring our VM strategy to drive impact across multiple channels and locations.
- POSM & Project Management: Assist in the development of local point of sale material with external suppliers—from initial briefing through to final installation—ensuring projects stay within budget and meet retailer specifications.
- Guidelines & Planograms: Create and communicate clear Visual Merchandising Guidelines and planograms for all launches and animations, engaging both internal and external teams for seamless execution.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Work collaboratively with a wide network of internal teams and external partners to bring creative concepts to life.
- Creative Planning & Innovation: Bring your creative flair to the table! We love new ideas, out-of-the-box creative planning, and fresh approaches to visual storytelling.
- VM Reviews & Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular VM reviews (gathering both quantitative and qualitative feedback), monitor competitor activity and industry innovations, and build review reports for HQ.
- Logistics & Rollouts: Plan and coordinate the ordering of POSM and testers for all VM activity, rollouts, and new counter openings.
- Digital & Lightboxes: Manage lightbox and digital screen spreadsheets for all launches and review incoming artwork.
- Field Execution & Support: Respond to Area Manager queries, carry out regular field visits, and attend installations for key launches and new store openings.
- Operational Excellence: Handle general ad-hoc tasks and raise purchase orders with precision.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Role Specific Competencies
- Organisational Mastery: Exceptional organisational skills are an absolute must; you will be tracking numerous launch dates, retailer plans, and moving parts simultaneously.
- Creative Flair: A passion for fresh ideas, innovative retail design, and creative planning.
- Retail Mindset & Customer Focus: A deep love for the customer journey and understanding how to drive retail differentiation while respecting brand DNA.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong collaborative abilities, ensuring strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a clear, prompt, and concise reporting style.
- Technical Proficiencies: Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp is a strong plus.
Profile
- Experience in Visual Merchandising preferred
- Knowledge of luxury Perfumes and Cosmetics Market
- Energetic self-motivator with a passion for luxury retail
