VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER – PRESTIGE DIVISION
RETAIL DESIGN & VISUAL MERCHANDISING
SW19 – Wimbledon (2 to 3 days per week in the office)
Bring luxury beauty experiences to life across some of the world's most iconic prestige brands. As part of Coty's Prestige Division, you will play a key role in translating global vision into impactful, commercially successful retail experiences across the UK & Ireland. This role combines creativity, project management, operational excellence and stakeholder collaboration to deliver best-in-class visual merchandising across every retail touchpoint.
THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding Visual Merchandising and Store Design projects across the Prestige portfolio, ensuring launches, stand updates, seasonal activations and permanent installations are executed with excellence.
You will lead projects from concept through execution for brands including Gucci, Burberry, Chloé, Hugo Boss and Marc Jacobs, alongside many other prestigious beauty and fragrance brands.
You are an experienced Visual Merchandising professional who understands the UK&I retail landscape and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Combining creativity with strong project management and operational expertise, you will transform global brand vision into locally relevant, commercially impactful executions that elevate the consumer experience while protecting brand equity.
Deliver Exceptional Retail Experiences
- Lead the design, project management and implementation of permanent and temporary Visual Merchandising executions across the UK & Ireland.
- Translate global brand vision into locally relevant retail experiences that drive engagement, brand equity and commercial performance.
- Deliver new product launches, stand updates and retailer activations while maintaining consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Support new door openings and retailer launches, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring seamless execution.
- Create customer-centric retail concepts that elevate the shopper journey and strengthen brand presence.
- Integrate sustainability principles into all Visual Merchandising initiatives, from concept and production through to end-of-life planning.
Manage Projects, Budgets & Operational Excellence
- Manage VM & Store Design projects from brief through to final installation, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Own allocated CAPEX and OPEX budgets, including forecasting, reporting, invoice management and purchase order processes.
- Coordinate external agencies and suppliers, ensuring quality, efficiency and compliance with brand standards.
- Oversee production, prototyping, material specifications and implementation logistics.
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support maintenance programmes to ensure retail environments consistently reflect prestige brand standards.

Collaborate to Drive Best-in-Class Execution
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Commercial Excellence, Creative and Global teams to deliver integrated launches and activations.
- Develop VM planograms, launch toolkits and monthly execution guidelines for field teams and retail partners.
- Brief internal design teams and external agencies clearly and effectively to optimise timelines, quality and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, suppliers and agencies to ensure seamless delivery and accelerated approval processes.
- Support training and coaching of field teams to ensure consistent in-store excellence across all locations.
- Act as a brand ambassador, building trusted partnerships that strengthen Coty's reputation with retail partners.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You are passionate about Beauty, Retail Design and creating exceptional in-store experiences. You combine creativity with strong organisational and project management skills, enabling you to deliver complex projects while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy collaborating across functions and have the confidence to challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.
Other than that, you bring:
- Extensive experience in Visual Merchandising, Store Design or Retail Design roles.
- Experience within beauty, luxury beauty or premium retail environments.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and complex stakeholder networks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of retail production processes, materials and manufacturing techniques.
- Experience managing external suppliers, agencies and retailer relationships.
- Confident presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence different audiences.
- Experience with forecasting, reporting, invoicing and purchase order management.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Understanding of 3D design processes and architectural renders.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
