Visual Studio Developer - £35 - 40K p.a

Skills Required:

  • Visual Studio
  • Microsoft database server management

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems,

  • LAN
  • VPNs, and security products such as anti-virus.

Job Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position, responsible for developing internal software for a variety of services. You will also work in deploying, enhancing, and troubleshooting application developments across all companies in the group, as may be required.

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Enhancement and development of software applications/services.
  • Troubleshooting and security of the software developments.
  • Understanding of integration and partnership with internal/external data.
  • Liaison with other departments to develop and implement their requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design concepts.
  • Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience using Visual Studio and related toolchains.
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs, services, and databases.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft database server management
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
