Visual Support Assistant (VSA)

We seek a Visual Support Assistant (VSA) to support professionals at work at a large technology company in London, UK. This position is a full-time role based in the office. We need someone calm and patient. The goal is to ensure employees are productive and comfortable at work. Administration support is required.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9 am - 5 pm
  • 40 hours per week

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and visual support to employees in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Demonstrate experience assisting blind or low-vision clients
  • Use Google Workspace extensively, including Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar, and other related tools.
  • Utilize AI tools and features to support daily tasks and improve productivity.
  • Assist with formatting, editing, and organizing content provided by employees.
  • Provide audio narration support when appropriate technology is unavailable.
  • Research, gather, and deliver information to employees as needed.
  • Assist with sorting and reviewing physical mail, shredding documents, and operating office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
  • Assist employees with navigating unfamiliar locations and environments.
  • Extensive travel with employees for business meetings and work-related trips. All travel expenses are paid.

  • BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.
  • At least 6 months of professional experience using Google Workspace.
  • At least 6 months of administrative experience required.
  • 1+ year of visual support experience preferred.
  • Experience navigating and managing expenses in SAP Concur is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, discretion, strong navigational/spatial awareness skills, and adaptability.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM and pass a typing test.
  • Must be comfortable working 100% in-office, full-time, Monday through Friday.
  • Must be willing and flexible to travel extensively with the client for business purposes; all travel expenses are paid.
  • Must have a valid passport; Global Entry/trusted traveler status is a strong plus.
  • Must be willing to provide proof of a cleared TB test or complete one if required.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
