Job Description

Purpose of the Role

To co-design measurement tools which enable colleague behaviour measurement and the drivers to enable successful behavioural change and to increase the capability of the team by acting as the lead for development of behavioural intervention capabilities.

Accountabilities

  • Application of business, academic evidence-based research and market insights to design, test and support the deployment of reliable and valid colleague behavioural and attitudinal measurement tools which will have an impact across the organisation.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary squad, enabling the squad to build evidence-based products through strong collaboration leveraging on others’ expertise, informed influencing, and commercial acumen.
  • Development of new capabilities of the OB team and specifically function as the lead for the development of behavioural interventions capabilities, in close collaboration with external partners.
  • Rapid evidence assessments and production of short and focused reports driven by evidence-based research and recommending actionable insights.
  • Planning and project management of organisational behavioural science initiatives.
  • Implementation of adherence to HR/Group policies and standards, Governance, and internal controls.

They may also lead a number of specialists to influence the operations of a department, in alignment with strategic as well as tactical priorities, while balancing short and long term goals and ensuring that budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

  • For an individual contributor, they will be a subject matter expert within own discipline and will guide technical direction. They will lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments, identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments. They will train, guide and coach less experienced specialists and provide information affecting long term profits, organisational risks and strategic decisions.
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes.
  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.

Role Description

In this role, you will act as the strategic link between HR, business stakeholders, and Microsoft product owners, leading the effective use of Microsoft Viva, M365, Copilot, and related data platforms to enhance colleague experience and HR outcomes. You will develop deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and data ecosystems, including Microsoft Fabric, to align business ambitions with technology capabilities. By partnering closely with senior stakeholders and product teams, you will help shape product direction, influence roadmaps, and ensure that HR priorities are translated into scalable, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value across the organisation.

You will support the design and continuous improvement of a coherent HR data framework, connecting and analysing complex datasets across Microsoft platforms to generate meaningful insights and identify opportunities to improve employee journeys. Working across multiple data sources, you will establish repeatable approaches to data modelling, insight generation, and solution design, while driving innovation through new use cases and advanced analytics. Through a combination of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and data expertise, you will lead the development of insight-led solutions that improve decision making, optimise HR processes, and enhance overall colleague experiences.

Key Requirements

To be successful as a Viva Data Product Manager - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract, you must have experience with:

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Viva, M365 and/or Copilot ecosystems as well as Microsoft Fabric
  • Data architecture, data modelling, and data governance expertise
  • Ability to connect and interpret complex, cross-platform datasets
  • Stakeholder management and influencing capability at senior level
  • Experience bridging business requirements and technology/product delivery
  • Ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable business insight
  • Commercial and strategic thinking aligned to business outcomes
  • Experience designing frameworks, models, or scalable data solutions

Highly Valued Skills

  • Experience in HR, colleague experience, or digital workplace domains.
  • Familiarity with employee experience platforms and HR journeys.
  • Experience working within product-led or agile delivery environments.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, AI, or insight-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading innovation, experimentation, or transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of data governance and regulatory considerations in a complex organisation.
