VMU Supervisor, Full time 40 hours per week.
Based in our vehicle maintenance unit (VMU) at our depot in Monkspath - Solihull, West Midlands.
Within this role you will be guaranteed 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday (with some weekend flexibility when needed) and you will receive an annual salary of £58,783.
The shift pattern available will be:
- Day Shift: 08:00 to 16:30

This role also comes with a company work phone and the use of a company van.
The role will involve:
- Maintaining a strong MOT pass rate.
- Completing safety inspections on units and trailers in accordance with DVSA guideline, company policy and obligations of the operator licence.
- Inputting hours to time sheet app and managing rotas.
- Managing annual leave.
- Support in dealing with breakdowns via contractors.
- Managing stock and ordering parts.
- Managing disciplinary investigations or absence management.
- Reporting to fleet manager and supporting fleet management processes.
- To be flexible to the requirements of your team and the business.
- Good mechanical knowledge and able to support the VMU function, hands on, where needed.
- Supporting the training of staff and apprentices.
- Keeping VOR (Vehicles off the road) as low as possible though allocation of work, using third parties if required.
