Life on the team

We’re expanding our VCF capability to design, deliver, and modernise enterprise private cloud platforms on VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x. As a consultant you’ll lead end to end engagements, shaping architectures, hands on builds, lifecycle automation, and migrations while coaching others and producing high quality artefacts.

What you’ll do

  • Lead assessments and define future state VCF 9.x architectures
  • Produce HLD/LLD, implementation plans, and operational runbooks
  • Own VCF bring up, SDDC Manager config, lifecycle & compliance
  • Engineer NSX, vSAN, workload domain builds
  • VCF Operations design, config and analysis
  • Execute migrations using HCX/vMotion
  • Automate day 0/1/2 operations with Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLI
  • Enable modern workloads such as VKS and platform guardrails

What you’ll need

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep VCF design/build/operate experience
  • Strong NSX (T0/T1, DFW, VRFs, EVPN), vSAN (ESA/OSA)
  • Automation with Terraform, Ansible, PowerCLI, APIs
  • Observability with Aria Ops / Ops for Networks / Logs
  • Migration experience with HCX
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement

Preferred Skills

  • Kubernetes on vSphere (VKS)
  • DR tooling (SRM, VCDR)
  • VMware Cloud (VMC on AWS, AVS)
  • Avi load balancing, Aria Suite Lifecycle

Certifications

  • VCP–Cloud Foundation 9.x
  • VCAP NV/DCV welcomed
  • NSX Specialist / VCF Specialist badges
  • SC/DV clearance beneficial for public sector roles
