Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Consultant / Solutions Architect
Hybrid (3 days onsite) | EMEA
We’re looking for an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Consultant / Solutions Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale hybrid cloud and software-defined data centre (SDDC) solutions across EMEA.
If you’re a seasoned VMware expert who enjoys working across architecture, delivery, and client advisory — this is a role where you’ll lead major transformation programmes, stay hands-on with the tech, and influence how clients modernise their data centre and cloud platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Architect end-to-end VMware Cloud Foundation solutions (compute, storage, networking, lifecycle)
- Deliver deployments, upgrades, migrations across vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria
- Run assessments and produce high-quality designs, implementation plans, and operational guides
- Lead complex transformation projects: automation, cloud integration, platform modernisation
- Troubleshoot and optimise VCF performance in demanding enterprise environments
- Advise clients on roadmap, best practice, and operational maturity
- Support pre-sales workshops, high-level designs, and solution shaping
- Mentor colleagues and help grow internal VMware capability

What You Bring
- Significant hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (management/workload domains, SDDC Manager)
- Deep knowledge of vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T; experience with Aria or automation tooling
- Proven delivery of large-scale SDDC or hybrid cloud environments
- Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid networking fundamentals; exposure to Nutanix or public cloud is a bonus
- Comfortable balancing architecture with hands-on implementation (approx. 50/50)
- Security clearance eligibility helpful but not essential
