VMware Migration Engineer – £400–£500/day
£400–£500 per day | Outside IR35
6-month contract | Strong extension potential
Hybrid – Greater Manchester
Join a business undergoing rapid global expansion through acquisition, bringing together new businesses, sites and technology estates at significant scale. The organisation is investing heavily in its infrastructure as it continues to grow and challenge established players within its market.
You'll be joining a major tenant-to-tenant migration designed to consolidate and modernise the infrastructure estate. The role is focused on VMware, Windows Server and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure, with Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 forming part of the wider environment.

Responsibilities
- Engineer and support VMware and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Support the tenant-to-tenant migration and integration of infrastructure environments.
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Windows Server in large enterprise environments.
- Experience across Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Nutanix and/or Rubrik experience would be beneficial.
Contract Details
- Day rate: £400–£500 per day
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months initially, with strong extension potential
- Working model: Hybrid – Greater Manchester
