As our new VMware, Omnissa & Citrix Specialist Sales, you will drive revenue growth, build pipeline, and help customers succeed across our Digital Workspace, End User Computing (EUC), Virtualization, and Hybrid Workplace portfolio. Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will work closely with Account Managers, Services teams, Alliances, and key vendors to identify opportunities, shape customer-centric solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Combining strong commercial acumen with deep VMware, Omnissa, and Citrix expertise, you will help customers modernize their digital workplace, enhance employee experience, strengthen security, and optimize IT operations. This role expands on a traditional presales profile with a stronger focus on business development, opportunity ownership, strategic customer engagement, and vendor collaboration.
Key responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Growth
- Generate, qualify, and grow VMware, Omnissa, and Citrix opportunities across existing and new customers, building a strong pipeline aligned with regional and vendor goals.
- Lead customer discussions on Digital Workspace, DEX, VDI, Application Delivery, Secure Hybrid Work, and Cloud Transformation, identifying modernization, migration, renewal, and expansion opportunities.

Customer Advisory & Solution Selling
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating business challenges into VMware, Omnissa, and Citrix solution strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Build compelling business cases around ROI, cost optimization, security, and productivity, while positioning SoftwareOne services, managed services, adoption, optimization, and licensing opportunities.
Vendor & Alliance Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with VMware by Broadcom, Omnissa, and Citrix teams, driving joint account planning and customer engagement.
- Maximize vendor programs, incentives, and funding opportunities while staying current on licensing, market trends, and strategic developments.
Sales Leadership & Deal Support
- Lead opportunity strategy, account planning, and solution positioning for complex customer engagements and commercial negotiations.
- Drive competitive displacement opportunities and optimize margin and deal profitability through effective pricing, incentives, and deal registration management.
Market Development & Enablement
- Serve as the VMware, Omnissa, and Citrix subject matter expert, delivering enablement sessions, workshops, and thought leadership.
- Develop sales assets, success stories, and solution playbooks, while representing SoftwareOne at customer, vendor, and industry events.
Job Requirements
- Deep expertise in Digital Workspace and EUC technologies, including Omnissa Workspace ONE & Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, DaaS and NetScaler, VMware vSphere, Cloud Foundation (VCF), NSX, Aria, and Digital Employee Experience (DEX)
- Ability to position and articulate the value of VMware, Omnissa, Citrix, and SoftwareOne solutions across technical, operational, and business audiences
- Proven success in pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, renewal and expansion management, and complex enterprise deal negotiations.
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement and business value selling skills, with the ability to align technology investments to measurable business outcomes
- Experience leading digital workspace, EUC, and hybrid workplace transformation initiatives in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of cost optimization, licensing efficiency, application modernization, security, and compliance
- Track record of improving employee productivity, digital employee experience, and end-user satisfaction
