Job Title: Vocational Trainer in Engineering, Motor Vehicle and Welding
Location: Lowestoft
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Band J - £31,983.12 - £35,006.40

East Coast College is seeking a motivated and supportive Vocational Trainer to join our Work Based Learning team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in guiding apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring they remain engaged, make excellent progress and successfully achieve their apprenticeship standards.
Key needs from you and the role:
- Apprenticeship Progress Management Ability to manage a caseload of apprentices, conduct progress reviews, monitor achievement, and support learners to complete their apprenticeship on time.
- Employer Engagement & Relationship Building Experience working with employers, providing advice and guidance, and developing strong partnerships that support learner success and future apprenticeship opportunities.
- Coaching, Training & Learner Support Ability to motivate, coach and support apprentices, helping them develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours while preparing them for End Point Assessment.
- Organisation, Compliance & Digital Systems Strong organisational and IT skills, including monitoring learner progress, maintaining accurate records, supporting the use of OneFile, and ensuring compliance with ESFA, Ofsted and College requirements.
