Location: Bracknell + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday Hybrid

What you'll do
As Test Lab Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring VodafoneThree’s Fixed Network Test Labs are ready to support the future of connectivity. You'll lead the operational management, capacity planning, solution design, and delivery of our test lab environments across Bracknell and Watford, helping teams test, validate, and launch network services with confidence. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you'll create scalable, resilient, and high-performing lab environments that enable innovation and operational excellence.

- You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation and long-term capacity planning of our fixed network test lab infrastructure.
- You'll work closely with internal customers to understand technical requirements and ensure the right space, power, cooling, and environmental capabilities are in place to support current and future needs.
- You'll analyse trends, forecast demand, identify capacity risks, and produce KPI reporting that helps guide investment and growth decisions.
- You'll lead the design of lab infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, resilient, efficient, and aligned to business objectives.
- You'll oversee installation activities and quality assurance for all Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC), ensuring high standards and accurate infrastructure management.
- You'll act as the central escalation point for lab-related issues, coordinating swift resolution and keeping stakeholders informed.
- You'll support fault management activities, helping maintain service quality and minimise disruption across lab environments.
- You'll champion health, safety, environmental, and technical compliance, ensuring all activities meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- You'll build strong relationships across technical and business teams, enabling collaboration and successful delivery outcomes.
Who you are
- Strong experience in telecommunications, network infrastructure, or technical lab environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions using data and insights.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure capacity, including power, cooling, and environmental systems.
- Knowledge of AC/DC power systems, battery technologies, and their application within telecoms or data centre environments.
- Experience designing and delivering infrastructure solutions that balance performance, resilience, scalability, and cost.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and levels of the organisation.
- Understanding of RF technologies and their integration within network or lab environments.
- Hands-on experience with fibre optic technologies, including installation, testing, fault diagnosis, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Ethernet networking technologies, including Layer 1-3 connectivity, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience in equipment installation, cabling, and physical infrastructure deployment.
- Familiarity with infrastructure governance, installation standards, and operational best practices.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications, such as City & Guilds, BS7671 Wiring Regulations, or equivalent.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
