• Lead commercial finance support for the Business Direct channel, providing insight, challenge and recommendations that drive profitable growth and support strategic decision-making.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Finance and Operations teams to influence business performance and deliver financial objectives.
• Own and deliver robust financial planning, forecasting and budgeting activities, ensuring performance is clearly understood and accurately reflected in business plans.
• Analyse revenue, margin, customer and product performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
• Provide financial evaluation and commercial modelling for new initiatives, investment proposals, pricing decisions and strategic projects.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Monitor key business drivers, proactively highlighting performance variances and supporting the development of corrective actions where required.
• Support governance and control activities, ensuring accurate reporting, financial integrity and compliance with business policies and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, forecasting and analytical processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and decision-making.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships, acting as a trusted finance partner who supports the delivery of VodafoneThree’s commercial ambitions.

Who you are

• Can showcase significant experience in commercial finance, business partnering, financial planning and analysis, or a similar strategic finance environment.
• Highly analytical, with strong financial modelling and commercial evaluation skills, and the ability to turn data into meaningful business insight.
• Comfortable challenging assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, and influencing decisions through evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and can build credibility quickly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your style to suit a range of audiences, including non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail while remaining focused on the bigger commercial picture and strategic priorities.
• Proactive, curious and solutions-focused, with the ability to investigate issues, challenge existing ways of working and drive improvements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outputs within demanding timescales.
