1408 Game Studios Voice Actor Opportunities
1408 Game Studios is currently looking for three British / British-accented voice actors to join the development of our upcoming psychological horror and tactical action game, R.E.C_REDUX.
This is a voluntary / work experience opportunity, aimed at voice actors who are looking to gain experience working on a video game production, build their portfolio and work directly with an indie development team.
The opportunity is available remotely or on-site with our team in Chatham, Kent.
We are currently casting:
2 Male Voice Actors – Counter-Terrorist Officers
We are looking for strong British voices that can deliver dialogue with a believable military, tactical, and professional tone. The characters need to sound disciplined and controlled while still conveying tension in high-pressure situations.
Male audition lines:
- "Control, this is Alpha Two. We've reached the entry point. No movement outside, but something doesn't feel right."
- "Keep your weapon up and stay on me. We clear this building room by room. Nobody moves alone."
- "Contact! Second floor, left window! Get into cover!"
- "We've lost communication with Command. Until we re-establish contact, we continue with the mission."

1 Female Voice Actor – Squad Leader
We are looking for a confident British female voice actor who can portray an experienced military squad leader. The performance should feel commanding, calm and authoritative, particularly when giving instructions under pressure.
Female audition lines:
- "Listen up. From this point forward, we operate under radio silence. Stay focused and follow my commands."
- "Alpha Team, secure the east entrance. Bravo, you're with me. We move in thirty seconds."
- "Keep your heads in the game. Whatever happened here, our objective hasn't changed."
- "Control, this is Squad Lead. We've made contact with hostile forces. Requesting immediate tactical support."

We're looking for performances that feel grounded and believable rather than exaggerated. R.E.C has a darker, cinematic military tone, so we're particularly interested in actors who can naturally move between controlled tactical dialogue and moments of genuine tension.
