About the Opportunity:
Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for an exciting UK English Voice Actor opportunity supporting the development of next-generation AI voice technology.
This project focuses on creating natural, expressive, human-quality speech recordings used to train advanced AI voice assistants for internal customer support applications. Your recordings will help improve the realism, clarity, and conversational abilities of cutting-edge AI systems.
If you're a UK English speaker with experience in voice acting, narration, broadcasting, podcasting, or professional voice recording, this is an excellent opportunity to earn competitive hourly compensation while working remotely on a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
As part of the project, you may:
- Record high-quality voice samples across conversational, instructional, and narrative scripts.
- Deliver clear, natural, and expressive speech with excellent pronunciation and pacing.
- Maintain consistent voice quality, accent, and tone across multiple recording sessions.
- Follow recording guidelines for audio quality, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- Record multiple takes with different emotional styles and delivery where required.
- Collaborate with reviewers to ensure recordings meet project quality standards.

Requirements:
- UK English speaker with a neutral British accent.
- Currently located in the United Kingdom.
- Experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting, broadcasting, dubbing, audiobook recording, or similar voice-related work.
- Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone, quiet recording environment, pop filter, etc.).
- Excellent pronunciation, diction, emotional range, and script reading ability.
- Comfortable participating in an AI voice cloning project for an internal customer support AI agent.
- Available approximately 5-10 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recording TTS datasets, IVR systems, AI voice projects, audiobooks, or voice-over work.
- Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, Reaper, or similar tools.
- Ability to perform multiple speaking styles including conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm delivery.
