Voice/UC Automation Engineer
London - Trading industry competitive compensation package
Quant Capital is working with a leading trading technology firm looking for a Unified Communications Engineer with voice specialism to take ownership of a global Cisco voice and collaboration environment.
This is not a narrow telephony support role. The team needs someone who can keep critical voice and video services stable, improve tooling, automate repeatable work and deal confidently with complex issues across Cisco UC, SIP, recording, conferencing and integrations.

What you will own
- Support and improve a global Cisco UC and collaboration estate
- Manage changes, upgrades and configuration across voice, video and conferencing platforms
- Troubleshoot SIP, SBCs, PSTN trunking, endpoints and call flows
- Build automation around UC workflows
- Support voice recording, compliance and messaging archive platforms
- Integrate on-premise UC with Webex, Zoom, Teams and related services
- Improve monitoring, alerting, documentation and operational standards
Experience needed
- 7+ years in voice, UC or collaboration engineering
- Strong experience with CUCM, Cisco Meeting Server and Expressway
- Good knowledge of SIP, SBCs and PSTN SIP trunking
- Experience supporting Cisco phones, softphones and video endpoints
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills
- Scripting or automation experience in Python, PowerShell or similar
- Experience in a high-availability enterprise environment
