About The Role
Play a vital role in supporting the UK's critical defence communications, working directly with customers to deliver secure, resilient services that help keep the nation connected and protected. You'll proactively monitor and support bespoke TDM/IP networks, secure communication platforms and mission-critical services from the Primary Network Control Centre (PNCC). As part of a specialist team, you'll take ownership of end-to-end service delivery across secure and non-secure environments, resolving complex challenges and ensuring exceptional service for our customers.
The successful candidate must be eligible for, and able to obtain and maintain, DV UK Government Security Clearance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for secure voice services, ensuring high levels of availability and performance.
- Manage service provisioning, incidents, faults, problems and change implementation across complex voice networks.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot secure customer environments, resolving issues before they impact service.
- Maintain platform security, performance and operational resilience in line with strict contractual and security requirements.
- Ensure timely incident resolution, continuous service monitoring, and completion of key security and compliance activities.

Essential Skills / Experience
- Voice & Network Technologies – Knowledge of TDM, SIP, IP telephony and voice gateway technologies, with the ability to support and troubleshoot secure voice services.
- Platform & Service Management – Understanding of Windows server environments, telephony platforms and ITIL-based incident, problem and change management processes.
- Operational Support & Problem Solving – Ability to work independently, manage complex technical issues and utilise a range of IT systems to maintain service performance and availability.
