Void Supervisor

Our growing In-House Maintenance Team is seeking an experienced, customer-focused team member to join us as a Void Supervisor, to support the effective management of subcontractors in delivering a first-class void service to our tenants. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader with a proven track record of driving team performance and improvement.

This role is crucial in ensuring our properties are repaired to our void standard within agreed timescales and ready for our tenant's to move into. You will be joining a sector leading in-house repairs service, supervising procured subcontractors and ensuring Midland Heart's professional standards are maintained on the front-line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-inspect voids to be scheduled and allocated to contractors, against our agreed void standard.
  • Monitor the site health and safety practises to ensure our subcontractors work safely and leave our properties in a safe condition for new tenants.
  • Manage the works on site through to completion with a sharp eye on quality delivery.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with contractors to enable us to work collaboratively with our supplier chain for a common goal, ‘Tenants at Heart'.
  • Carry out thorough post inspections and provide appropriate completion documentation to our Lettings Teams to enable a swift and smooth sign up process for our tenants.
  • Provide weekly internal updates for Performance Reporting on completions and post inspections.
  • Attend weekly update meetings with Lettings Teams to advise on Expected Completion Dates and the progress of works.
  • Collaborate with wider business functions to implement data-driven improvements, always seeking to provide the best service for our tenants.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
