Role Description
The Volunteer role at Libya Alahrar TV in the London Area, United Kingdom is a full-time, on-site position supporting the channel’s editorial and production activities. Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Assisting with research for news stories and programs
- Supporting scriptwriting and translation
- Helping prepare materials for broadcast and digital platforms
- Contributing to content review

Qualifications
- Strong interest in journalism, media, or broadcasting, with a commitment to truthful reporting and public awareness.
- Ability to conduct basic research, summarize information clearly, and support scriptwriting or content preparation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom environment, managing time and tasks responsibly.
- Basic familiarity with TV or digital media workflows (editing software, social media platforms, or content management tools) is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative while respecting editorial guidelines and ethical standards.
- Relevant academic background or training in media, communications, journalism, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
