NewKroo App is a community-focused platform designed to help individuals build meaningful, lasting friendships. The app connects people who are seeking a supportive social circle and shared experiences in everyday life. NewKroo focuses on authenticity, inclusion, and creating safe spaces where users can find their “crew.” Volunteers play a key role in growing and nurturing this community so more people can access genuine connection.
Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role that supports NewKroo’s mission of helping users discover and strengthen their friendship circles. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- Engaging with users on the app and social platforms
- Answering questions
- Providing friendly guidance to help them navigate features and connect with others
- Assisting with creating or moderating community discussions
- Sharing feedback on user experience
- Helping identify opportunities to improve engagement
Depending on interests and experience, volunteers might also support:
- Basic content creation
- Outreach activities
- Testing new features and providing input to the team
Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine interest in helping others feel welcome and included.
- Comfort with mobile apps and social media, and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
- Reliable time management, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory community practices.
- Prior experience in community building, volunteering, customer support, or peer mentoring is beneficial but not required.
