About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Business Consultant to join our consulting team and contribute to real client engagements. This is a hands-on, project-based internship, not a passive or observational role. You will work alongside other consultants on real business challenges, conduct research and analysis, and contribute to professional client deliverables. You will have the opportunity to develop practical consulting skills while working with an international team.
About Blackmont Consulting
Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organisation providing free consulting services to non-profits, social enterprises, and early-stage ventures. At the same time, we provide students and recent graduates with practical consulting experience by working on real client projects in international, remote teams. Our work focuses on research, analysis, structured problem-solving, and developing practical recommendations for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support client projects
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify key insights
- Apply structured problem-solving approaches to real-world business challenges
- Develop strategic recommendations based on research and analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on client projects
- Prepare professional presentations, reports, and project deliverables
- Contribute to high-quality project outcomes and communicate effectively with your team

Previous consulting experience is not required. We welcome students and recent graduates who are motivated to develop their consulting skills.
What We're Looking For
- Time commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week
- Availability: Able to participate consistently throughout the internship
- Responsiveness: Reply to team communications within 48 hours
- Meetings: Attend onboarding sessions and relevant weekly team meetings
- Teamwork: Communicate proactively with your project team and contribute to agreed deadlines
- Professionalism: Treat the internship with the same professionalism expected in a professional consulting environment
Start Date: Beginning of the following month
