Our partner uses football-based programmes to inspire, encourage, and educate disadvantaged young people in Ghana, teaching life skills and empowering young girls by teaching personal, professional, and practical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Second AfID Volunteer: You will be the second AfID volunteer to visit this partner.
  • Primary Role: Work with the accountant who received training from our previous volunteer.
  • Quickbooks Review: Your first task will be to review the use and progress of Quickbooks since the previous placement.
  • Bookkeeping Process: Create a simple bookkeeping process for the restaurant, as they record transactions by hand due to the lack of an electronic till.
  • Annual Budget Assistance: Assist in putting together an annual budget using either Excel or Quickbooks.
  • Monthly Reports: Create monthly income & expenditure reports for individual projects, the bar, restaurant & conference centre, and the organization overall.
  • Grants Compliance: Review grants compliance and reporting requirements.
