Mindset Maintenance CIC
Mindset Maintenance CIC is a Portsmouth-based not-for-profit enhancing community mental wellbeing and resilience through inclusive, low-cost events and workshops, and meaningful collaboration with local wellbeing practitioners and organisations.
What difference will you make?
Your role will help shape how Mindset Maintenance runs. As our Project Admin, you will be the glue that keeps everything organised behind the scenes, helping our events run smoothly and ensuring our community has the best possible experience. Your support will free up the wider team to focus on delivering meaningful wellbeing activities, building our community and making a positive difference across Portsmouth. You will be a valued and important member of our team, helping turn ideas into successful events that people can access, enjoy and benefit from.
What are we looking for?
- Interest or experience in wellbeing and helping the Portsmouth community
- Willingness to try, curiosity, and the ability to ask for help when needed
- Reliability – as a CIC, we heavily rely on our volunteers to do what they say they will. Our supportive Board and volunteer team are on hand to help or reallocate tasks as required, but please check your availability before you apply
- Interest or experience in wellbeing and community service
- Strong organisational skills
- Digital proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- We are looking for Project Management Experience, as the candidate will be looking after several projects
- 3 years experience in Project Management

What will you be doing?
Are you motivated to give something back to the Portsmouth community, build on your existing skills, and gain some non-profit experience?
Are you the ‘Monica’ of your friendship group – extremely organised and self-driven to get things done?
We are seeking an administrator to support the wider team and our founder with planning and preparation for our exciting events and projects. This will involve things such as supplier liaison, booking meetings, ordering banners, writing emails, and updating event platforms.
You will be part of the glue that holds the CIC together, and being a part of it is something truly special.

You will be working alongside the board of the non-profit, which includes our Founder & Commercial Manager as well as our volunteer marketing team and other events volunteers.
We all work remotely but have regular meetups and online meetings.

We like to get our volunteers together a few times a year to thank them for their work, which could look like little get-togethers or days out.
Location of Volunteering
- We all work remotely but have monthly meetups and online meets
- Some of our work is in person, such as our live events and workshops
Travel expenses can be reimbursed but need to be discussed prior.
Time Commitment
Commitment of 2-4 hours per week (average) with attendance at regular monthly volunteer meetings (with more time required in the run-up to the large events, including some evenings and weekends)
