About Us
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only day centre in Brighton & Hove providing a safe space and practical support for people aged 16–25 experiencing homelessness.
Role Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer and Activities Coordinator to lead, develop and support our volunteer programme. Volunteers play a vital role in enabling homeless and insecurely housed young people to access our day centre services, and this role is central to ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience.

Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, and supporting a diverse team of volunteers
- Helping volunteers develop their skills and maximise their contribution
- Overseeing our client activities programme
- Promoting volunteer engagement and recognition
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure volunteers are equipped to support young people effectively and safely
Job Details
- Salary: £28,576 – £31,357 per annum, pro rata
- Responsible to: Centre Manager
- Responsible for: Up to 40 Volunteers
- Hours: 27.5 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9.30am – 3.30pm
- Occasional evening and Saturday work is essential
- Location: Wenlock House, 41-43 North Street, Brighton, BN1 1RH
