Help Educere Recruit, Welcome and Support its Founding UK Volunteer Team
Help Educere recruit, welcome and support its founding UK volunteer team by creating fair, organised and inclusive recruitment, onboarding and volunteer-management systems for our growing education and community programmes.
What Difference Will You Make?
This role will help Educere build a reliable, well-supported volunteer team capable of delivering our UK education, SEND, wellbeing and community programmes.
The volunteer will create organised recruitment, onboarding and record-keeping systems, helping us attract suitable people, assess applications fairly and ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities from the beginning.
By coordinating references, induction, training and regular check-ins, the Volunteer and People Coordinator will improve safeguarding, accountability and volunteer retention. Their work will also help volunteers feel welcomed, valued and properly supported rather than being recruited without clear guidance or meaningful responsibilities.
The role will enable Educere’s programme, safeguarding and partnership leads to focus on developing services while maintaining confidence that volunteer processes are being managed consistently.
The coordinator will also support volunteers contributing to our Learning Management System, including educational content, digital learning, community outreach and programme evaluation.
Ultimately, this role will help Educere develop the skilled and committed team needed to increase access to inclusive education, support people with SEND, promote wellbeing and reduce inequalities within the communities we serve.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an organised, approachable and dependable volunteer who can help Educere create a professional and positive experience for applicants and volunteers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
