Join Change Grow Live as a Behaviour Change Support Volunteer and play a vital role in helping individuals grow, recover, and thrive.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Change Support Volunteer, you’ll work closely with our Behaviour Change Practitioners to support people in recovery. From making support calls and co-facilitating groups to helping with triage assessments and 1:1 session you’ll be a key part of someone’s journey to a better life.
You’ll also help service users connect with wider support networks such as mutual aid groups (AA, NA, SMART Recovery), education and training opportunities, and community volunteering. The role will also involve supporting our neurodiverse service users to access the support mentioned above.

Responsibilities
- Welcome new service users into treatment
- Support individuals in achieving their care plan goals
- Assist with triage assessments and 1:1 mapping session
- Co-facilitate recovery groups such as Alcohol Pre-Detox and Here & Now
- Make aftercare support calls to check in on service users
- Signpost individuals to community resources and recovery motivators

What We’re Looking For
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic IT literacy
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Respect for confidentiality and professional boundaries
- A compassionate, non-judgmental attitude
- Awareness and understanding of neurodiversity and person-centred support.
