Role Description
The Volunteer Connector (West Norfolk) is a volunteer role that focuses on linking individuals and community organizations with suitable volunteering opportunities. Working in a hybrid arrangement, based in the Greater Norwich Area, United Kingdom, with some work from home, the Volunteer Connector will engage with local residents, community groups, and voluntary organizations to understand their needs and match them with appropriate roles.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage people from diverse backgrounds and build positive relationships.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including managing information, keeping accurate records, and handling multiple tasks responsibly.
- Comfort using digital tools and basic IT systems for email, online databases, and virtual meetings.
- Interest in community development, volunteering, or the voluntary sector, with a commitment to inclusion and fairness.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
- Knowledge of the local area and community networks in West Norfolk is beneficial but not essential.
- Previous experience in volunteering, community work, or support roles is an advantage but not required; training and support will be provided.
