Role Description
The (Volunteer) Creative Growth Lead is a full-time, remote role focused on driving creative initiatives and strategic growth across Abeyie Innovation UK’s programs and partnerships. On a day-to-day basis, this role will design and implement creative projects, coordinate with innovators and partners, and support the development of campaigns and activities that amplify the organization’s impact. Responsibilities include facilitating collaboration within the innovation community, identifying growth opportunities for creative ventures, and helping to shape content, messaging, and engagement strategies. The role also involves monitoring project progress, gathering feedback, and continuously improving creative processes to ensure that initiatives remain inclusive, impactful, and aligned with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

- Experience in creative leadership, project coordination, or innovation-focused roles, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and initiatives.
- Skills in concept development, storytelling, and strategic thinking to design and grow creative programs and collaborative projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including virtual collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and community-building across diverse groups.
- Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple remote projects, set priorities, and meet agreed timelines in a fast-evolving environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and online platforms used for remote work, content creation, and community engagement.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and non-discriminatory practices in innovation and creative work.
- Prior experience in startups, social innovation, or creative industries is beneficial but not required; relevant volunteer, academic, or community experience is welcome.
