Overview

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as an Criminal Justice Support Volunteer.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
  • Support our criminal justice team in delivering harm reduction interventions around drug and alcohol use
  • Delivering Needle and syringe exchange
  • Provide non-judgmental advice on safer drug & alcohol use, including injecting, overdose prevention, and emergency response.
  • Providing Naloxone and safe storage boxes to our service users
  • Completing BBV testing
  • Supporting our service users in attending DRR & ATR appointments
  • Multi agency working
  • Supporting the team in case management, recording notes on our case management system
  • Supporting our service users in meeting their support plans, working towards their future goals and aspirations
