We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to help us strengthen our financial planning, reporting and long-term sustainability.

What difference will you make?

Your analysis will help our trustees make better-informed decisions about our future.

You will help us understand

  • the true cost of running our charity,
  • the sustainability of our choirs and events,
  • how resilient we are to changes in grant funding,
  • how much we need in reserves,
  • and where we should focus our resources in the future.

The work will leave us with practical financial tools and insights that can continue to support the charity beyond the project.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with professional experience in financial analysis, management accounting or charity finance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Management accounts
  • Cost analysis and allocation
  • Cash flow planning

Experience of working with charities or not-for-profit organisations would be helpful but is not essential.

However, to plan confidently for the future, we need a deeper analysis of our costs, income patterns, reserves position and financial risks. We want to ensure our decisions are based on robust financial insight.

We are looking for a skilled volunteer who can review our financial information, analyse our income and expenditure, assess our reliance on grants, and help us understand the true cost and sustainability of our programmes. You’ll be responsible for developing practical tools, recommendations and a simple reporting dashboard that will support our trustees in making informed financial decisions.
