The Role
We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Fundraising Manager to work directly alongside our Chair and Treasurer. You will play a pivotal role in building our long-term fundraising capability and securing the future of our projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a practical fundraising strategy tailored to our size, baseline resources, and project needs.
- Devising targeted fundraising activities to secure an additional £10,000 over the next seven months (by March 2027).
- Collaborating with existing trustees and newly recruited volunteers to implement fundraising campaigns.
- Laying the financial groundwork to allow our impactful projects to safely expand from April 2027 onwards.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in charity fundraising, bid writing, or income generation.
- The ability to think strategically and create realistic targets for a small, volunteer-led charity.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
- A passion for international development and community empowerment.
Estimated Time & Location
- Location: Fully Remote (we are a completely remote organisation with no physical office).
- Time Commitment: Flexible (approximately 3 to 5 hours per week, managed around your own schedule).
- Period: 7-month initial commitment (through to March 2027).
