Overview

Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer!

Are you passionate about creativity and making a difference? Join our team and help deliver inspiring group sessions that support people on their recovery journey. You'll encourage participation, build confidence, and help create a welcoming space where people can express themselves through art and creativity. You'll also have opportunities to develop your skills, co-facilitate sessions, and support community art trips.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and support clients in creative group sessions.
  • Promote groups and encourage participation.
  • Help prepare activities and session materials.
  • Co-facilitate creative workshops and group discussions.
  • Provide one-to-one support where needed.
  • Assist with trips to art exhibitions and community events.
  • Help review and develop new session ideas and resources.
  • Re-engage clients who miss sessions and encourage their return.

What We're Looking For

  • An interest in art, crafts, or creative activities.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • A positive, non-judgemental approach.
  • Confidence, reliability, and enthusiasm to support others.

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
