Overview

Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer! Help people find their voice, build confidence, and connect through the power of music. Do you have a passion for music and want to make a real difference? Join our Music Group as a volunteer and help create engaging sessions that inspire creativity, self-expression, and connection. You'll support people on their recovery journey through music, while gaining experience in group facilitation and programme development.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Help develop and shape our music programme.
  • Promote sessions and encourage participation.
  • Support the planning and delivery of music activities.
  • Co-facilitate groups, discussions, and creative exercises.
  • Provide one-to-one support where needed.
  • Welcome and support clients during sessions.
  • Assist with trips to music and community events.
  • Help build confidence, reduce isolation, and encourage recovery through music.

What We're Looking For

  • An interest in music, singing, instruments, songwriting, or music production.
  • Great communication and people skills.
  • A positive, encouraging, and non-judgemental attitude.
  • Confidence, reliability, and enthusiasm to support others

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
