Job Description
Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) is seeking a Human Resources Professional to support the development and coordination of its international volunteer community. The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, volunteer engagement, team coordination, performance follow-up, and organizational development. The Volunteer will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and well-organized volunteer experience while helping HxN strengthen its internal people-management practices. The position combines HR coordination, communication, organizational planning, and people development within a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- The Volunteer will support recruitment and selection processes, including reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining organized volunteer records.
- The role will contribute to onboarding processes and the integration of new volunteers, ensuring that participants understand their roles, responsibilities, areas of work, and organizational dynamics.
- The Volunteer will also support volunteer engagement and retention through regular communication, follow-up, feedback collection, and coordination with team leaders. Responsibilities may include:
- monitoring volunteer participation and progress,
- identifying areas for improvement,
- supporting performance and development processes, and
- contributing to initiatives that strengthen collaboration, motivation, and team culture.

The role will further assist in developing and improving HR procedures, internal documentation, surveys, and people-management tools, while contributing to a positive and inclusive organizational environment across HxN’s international volunteer network.
After completing an initial 6-month volunteer period, participants may request a certificate acknowledging their collaboration with Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) and animaná, including the area in which they contributed and the tasks and responsibilities carried out during their experience with the organization.

- Estimated hours required per week: 10–15 hours/week

- English

Desired Skills And Experience
- Degree or advanced studies in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Management, Sociology, International Relations, or a related field.
- Strong interest in recruitment, talent management, volunteer management, organizational development, or people operations.
- Knowledge of onboarding, volunteer engagement, performance follow-up, feedback processes, and team coordination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Ability to organize and manage information, processes, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify organizational needs and propose practical improvements.
- Strong written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.
