Role Description
This Volunteer Marketing Intern role is a remote role. The intern will support day-to-day marketing activities, including:

- Assisting with social media content
- Basic copywriting
- Helping prepare newsletters and marketing materials
- Monitoring engagement metrics to inform future campaigns

The intern will ensure consistent messaging, help organise marketing assets, and contribute creative ideas for content and outreach. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in purpose-driven marketing while supporting the mission of Earth Changers.
Skills & Experiences
- Strong interest in marketing, communications, or digital media, ideally related to sustainability, travel, and/or social impact.
- Basic skills in social media management, content creation, and copywriting for online platforms.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort using common digital tools, e.g., Office/Google Docs, social media platforms, basic editors.
- Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously and to manage time effectively.
- Enthusiasm for sustainable tourism, community impact, and conservation; prior academic knowledge or volunteer experience in related fields is beneficial.
- Currently working, studying or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, tourism, environmental studies, or a related discipline is an advantage but not required.
