About The Neuro Lounge
The Neuro Lounge is a new Strength Of A Queen CIC community programme created specifically for adults with ADHD.
Launching in 2027, the programme will run across three six-week cohorts and will bring adults with ADHD together in a relaxed, welcoming environment for honest conversations, practical tools, connection, and shared learning.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and ideas-driven Volunteer Project Lead to help us bring the programme to life.
The role
You'll work closely with the Founder/Programme Lead to take The Neuro Lounge from concept through planning, development, launch, and delivery. We're looking for someone who enjoys turning ideas into action.
You'll help keep the project moving, make sure actions don't disappear into a to-do list, coordinate contributions from other volunteers, and bring your own ideas to the table.
We want someone who will genuinely become invested in building The Neuro Lounge with us.
What you'll be doing
- Help develop the overall Neuro Lounge project plan
- Create and maintain the project timeline
- Maintain the project action list and key milestones
- Track progress and follow up outstanding actions
- Help identify what needs to happen next to keep the project moving
- Maintain organised project records and documentation
- Flag delays, gaps, risks, or decisions that need attention
- Help keep development aligned with planned launch and cohort dates
- Session themes and activities
- Participant workbooks and resources
- ADHD-friendly tools and activities

We therefore particularly welcome applications from neurodivergent people and/or people with meaningful lived, professional, voluntary, or community experience of neurodivergence. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis.
We recognise that neurodivergence is experienced differently by different people. Your perspective would contribute to the programme rather than being expected to represent every neurodivergent person's experience.
