I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Project Name: The Freedom Rhythm Initiative (Rehabilitation & Skill Hub Campaign)
Overview: A music-driven recovery project that uses Rap, Reggae, and Rock tracks to raise funds and awareness for building a specialized rehabilitation and skills development center. The physical hub will house training facilities for creative arts, technology, sustainable agriculture, and green energy.
Primary Goal: Drive online engagement, streaming, and digital visibility for the project's music releases to raise funds and attract donors/sponsors for building the rehabilitation center.
Secondary Goal: Reach individuals battling addiction with an empowering message of recovery while establishing a sustainable funding stream through music monetization, crowdfunding, and digital campaigns.
Volunteer Tasks
- Digital Music Promotion: Plan and execute online marketing campaigns across streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube) to maximize plays and digital reach.
- Social Media & Content Strategy: Create engaging campaigns (short-form videos, teasers, stories) around the Rap, Reggae, and Rock tracks to highlight the mission and drive traffic to the fundraising page.
- Crowdfunding Support: Integrate music releases with online fundraising tools, directing listeners and supporters to donate toward the rehabilitation center's construction.
- Audience Growth & Playlist Pitching: Pitch releases to relevant playlist curators, music bloggers, and online communities focused on music for social impact, recovery, and independent arts.
Why Your Work Is Important
- Direct Catalyst for Capital: The music serves as the engine for fundraising; without effective digital marketing, the music cannot reach the donors, partners, and streams required to fund the physical center.
- Expanding Impact: Effective online marketing ensures the message of hope reaches people actively struggling with substance abuse, connecting them to a community focused on transformation through tech, arts, green energy, and agriculture.
