What are we looking for?
Essential Skills
- Highly proficient sight-reading and live piano accompaniment capabilities.
- Cross-Genre Flexibility Proven versatility across varied musical genres and styles.
- Arranging/Transcription Demonstrated ability to transcribe and prepare custom sheet music or arrangements for group performance.
- Creative Collaboration Prior songwriting or compositional experience, with portfolio links or examples highly preferred.

Role Responsibilities
- Rehearsal & Performance Accompaniment Attend and musically accompany the group singing classes and final showcase, providing confident sight-reading and dynamic piano support.
- Collaborative Composition Work directly with the creative team and community participants to co-create and compose an original "Song for the City," commemorating the historical 50th-anniversary milestone.
- Arranging & Transcribing Adapt, arrange, or transcribe musical pieces flexibly across diverse genres to suit the vocal abilities and energy of the community choir.
- Musical Leadership Assist with guiding group numbers, helping participants feel supported, unified, and performance-ready.
