Company Description:
Unlock Her Tech is an inclusive tech community focused on helping women and underrepresented people in technology learn, connect, build confidence and grow their careers.
Alongside our technical sessions, mentoring, partnerships and community events, we are growing our podcast and video content to share useful conversations, experiences and stories with our wider community.
We’re looking for a Volunteer Podcast & Video Editor to help us turn our recorded conversations, interviews and events into engaging, high-quality content.

What you will be doing:
• Edit podcast episodes, interviews and recorded audio/video content
• Remove mistakes, long pauses, background noise and unnecessary sections
• Improve audio quality and overall flow
• Edit full-length podcast and YouTube episodes
• Create shorter clips, reels and highlights for LinkedIn, Instagram and other social platforms
• Add captions, subtitles, titles and simple branded elements where needed
• Prepare content in the correct formats for different platforms
• Organise raw footage, edited files and other podcast assets
• Work closely with the Podcast Coordinator, Podcast Host, Content Researcher and Social Media team
• Suggest creative ways to improve the quality and presentation of our podcast and video content
• Make reasonable revisions following team feedback

We’d love to hear from you if you have
• Experience editing video, podcasts or digital content
• Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Descript, Riverside or similar
• A good understanding of audio and video quality
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and manage your own deadlines
• A good sense of storytelling and pacing
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An interest in technology, community building, diversity and supporting women in tech
