We are growing — and looking for a Volunteer Programme Officer to join BloomShield CIC.
BloomShield is a UK Community Interest Company working to advance equitable cancer prevention through community partnerships, implementation science, research and responsible innovation.
As we develop our cancer prevention and health-inequalities programmes, we are looking for an organised and motivated Volunteer Programme Officer to work alongside our Founder/CEO and growing network of partners.
The role will support programme planning and coordination, NHS and VCSE intelligence, stakeholder engagement, funding and commissioning research, programme documentation, and the development of community-based cancer prevention initiatives.

Commitment:
- Approximately 6–10 hours per week, initially for 3–6 months
Location:
- Primarily remote, UK
Role:
- Voluntary, with reasonable pre-agreed expenses where applicable
Support:
- Mentoring, supervision and opportunities to contribute to real programme development will be provided.
