About The Affiliated Organization
The textile and creative industries touch every layer of society, yet remain among the world’s most polluting and exploitative sectors. Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) exists to transform this reality. Founded by Adriana Marina, PhD in Economics and Ashoka Fellow, HxN is a UN ECOSOC-accredited NGO with 17 years of experience advancing a fair, regenerative, and inclusive creative economy—one where indigenous knowledge is protected, artisans are recognized as innovators, and technology strengthens communities. Together with our sister organization animaná, a certified B Corp social enterprise and ethical fashion brand, we have connected 8,500+ artisans, 20,000+ natural fiber producers, and 80+ organizations across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Our work sits at the intersection of fashion, culture, technology, and systemic change, with an international presence through the United Nations, Ashoka, AI for Good, Erasmus+, UNEP, and Stanford. At the heart of our work is the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Ancestral Intelligence—using innovation to preserve knowledge, strengthen communities, and transform global value chains. We are not simply an NGO. We are a platform, a fellowship, and a movement – made by us, for all of us. @hechoxnosotros | @animanaonline

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Job Description
Hecho por Nosotros (HxN) is looking for a Reports Specialist to join a permanent and high-priority team responsible for documenting, structuring, analyzing, and communicating the organization’s work, history, and impact. The role combines two interconnected dimensions of reporting. The first focuses on developing the internal systems needed to collect information across HxN, including reporting frameworks, forms, timelines, and processes that enable different areas to consistently document their work and contributions in a timely manner. The second focuses on transforming this information into institutional reports and accountability documents for external organizations, international institutions, and strategic networks. Beyond collecting data, the team plays an important role in telling the story of HxN. Our reports should reflect the organization’s history, evolution, and impact as an interconnected whole rather than relying on generic descriptions or isolated figures. Strong storytelling, research, analytical, and writing skills are therefore essential to connect information from different areas and communicate the significance of HxN’s work. The key responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- The Reports Specialist will design and improve internal reporting frameworks, forms, and processes to ensure that HxN teams document and submit relevant information consistently and on time.
- The role will coordinate the collection and organization of data, evidence, and sources across departments, contributing to History & Impact Reports that communicate HxN’s evolution, work, and impact through a coherent and meaningful narrative.
- The Specialist will also support the preparation of institutional reports and accountability documents for international organizations and networks, including the United Nations Global Compact, contributing to the Communication on Engagement (CoE) and Communication on Progress (CoP).
- The role combines research, storytelling, analysis, and cross-area coordination to strengthen HxN’s reporting practices and institutional documentation.
