IMPORTANT NOTE: We are a small, unfunded non-profit organisation and therefore DO NOT accept Visa Sponsorship applicants. Due to our insurance policy, we can ONLY accept applicants residing in the UK.

Are you a vegan wildlife enthusiast who wants to make a difference in the world? Why not volunteer on our small, friendly team and help us to research the intricate relationships between humans and animals in the UK? This remote, flexible, part-time (5 hrs/wk) online role is ideal for someone passionate about UK wildlife, animal wellbeing, and ethical conservation.

Summary of the Volunteer Role

As a Human-Animal Conflict Research Assistant, you will be at the forefront of studying and understanding the intricate relationships between humans and animals and assessing the most misunderstood and underrepresented cases of wildlife suffering in the UK. Our findings should play a vital role in informing the wider community and potentially lead to a positive change towards the concept of coexistence within more traditional Wildlife Management frameworks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
