The New Middle East Observatory (NEMO)
The New Middle East Observatory (NEMO) is a newly established independent platform examining the political, military and economic transformations shaping the new Middle East.
We are looking for volunteer research contributors
We are looking for volunteer research contributors interested in writing clear, well-researched articles and analysis on regional politics, security, economics, energy, technology, and international relations.

The role
Contributors will:
- Propose and write original articles for publication on the NEMO website
- Produce evidence-based analysis for a wider public audience
- Work with the editorial team to develop and refine article ideas
- Have the opportunity to participate in future discussions and events
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from students, researchers, journalists, and emerging writers with a strong interest in the Middle East. Previous publishing experience is helpful but not essential.

This is a remote, flexible, and unpaid volunteer opportunity. Published contributors will receive a byline and may list their role with NEMO on their LinkedIn profile.
